First, let us say how proud we are of this beautiful girl that came to us from Sundance Boxers.  Thank you Ron Sessions for allowing us to have this gorgeous girl as part of our family.  Summer is an outstanding example of the breed. Gary Steele describes Summer as "exquisite."  We were very pleased with his description and, we believe he was right on the mark!. Kimberlie describes her as "The Princess." We think she is also right on the money!  Summer has a fabulous dark red coat which is tight and short.  Her head is stunning with a very good bite.  She is balanced and square, as the standard reminds us our boxers should be.  Summer's mother was bred here at Desert Boxers even though she carries the RandG kennel name.  (Thanks, Gayann, for allowing the use of your kennel name for our fist litter.)  Summer's father, CH Duba Dae's Buster Brown, Gunner, was the 2004 National ABC 9-12 Fawn Dog Class winner from a large entry.   He was also a member of the Stud Dog Winning trio that year.  Summer's mother, Kaila, is a resident of Sundance Boxers.  Her first and only litter produced some very special puppies.

On Summer's first venture into the world of showing, she went back-to-back Best Puppy in Sweeps and back-to-back Grand Sweepstakes Winner at two Boxer Specialities in Indio, California.  We could have not have been more proud of this girl.  Additionally, Summer placed at the 2008 American Boxer Club Specialty handled by Kimberlie Steele Gamero and Paige Day.  Summer loved to show and when she entered the ring she told everyone "look at me" with her saucy attitude and showy style. Summer's last win, garnering her AKC Championship, was a Best of Opposite Sex over Specials.

We are pleased to announce that Summer passed her 24 hour heart monitoring test with excellent results.  Additionally, Dr. Whit Church, Animal Cardiologist, has certified her free of SAS by Echo.  Summer was bred to MBIS MBISS AM/CAN CH Jem's Rock the House and produced 6 gorgeous puppies in Dec 09.  We were so fortunate to have placed 5 of these puppies in show homes.  Watch for the Rockin' 5 in a ring near you this summer!
